I got chores done and then had breakfast before we got potatoes and corn on the stove to cook while we got ready for church.
It feels a lot colder today and with the light rain falling it is a really raw day outside.
Church was good and then we headed home for lunch with EL riding with us.
We had roast beef and green beans and biscuits to go with the corn and potatoes already cooked.
The rest of Aa's family, #1 son's family and #2 son and Tif all made it to lunch today. Daughter came by to pick up the left overs after her and son-in-love had been working all morning cleaning at her apartment as they have to turn in the keys tomorrow.
D-in-love and Re made a shopping trip over to the Wee Trade kids sale after lunch and #1 son and Aa took the kids home for naps. Hubbie and I went over to daughter's apartment to take down the direct TV dish from the patio.
We came back home and rested for the afternoon.
We got chores done this evening just before the hard rains started. There was only 1/10th inch in the gauge from the light rain of last night and today.
The "O" winter storm, Oren was named today and will be responsible for the heavy overnight rains that are predicted for our area as well as more snow for the northern states.
G-son's church youth group went to a pinball museum tonight and he had a great time.
Thankful for the blessings of this day and for the saving grace of our Precious Savior Jesus Christ.
