DAY OF DEPRESSING YEAR-END PAPERWORK

I decided last night, today would be a paperwork catch up day.Since I had not done anything with my December business,I kinda thought it was time I did.So paperwork I did, before I picked g-son up from pre-school and after. G-son wanted to stay at pre-school and wasn't happy when I put him in his car seat. After a stop at Walgreens and some on-sale Christmas Spongebob candy he was a happy camper. After lunch at home he settled in to watch cartoons and take a much needed nap. It was back to the paperwork grind for me,finally late in the afternoon December was in the books and the last quarterly tax was payed. The down turn in my business for 2009 is staggering,I'm glad I don't have any employees,I'd have to have lay-offs. This has been the nicest day in many 50 degree temp and sunshine and I missed it!! We have to do what we have to do,grrrr!!!!! Tomorrow I will tie up the farming business ends at the courthouse and then wait until February, which is tax month in my world.

Now this is definetly what I would call CHILLIN!!!!!!!!!!
I had a craving for fried okra tonight so I fixed some for supper with the last tomato I bought the other day,it made my desire for warm weather and fresh garden veggies worse.
I bagged my Avon orders and vegged out on the couch to watch a b-ball game tonight.
The news out of Haiti is not good,I heard one report that as many as 500,000 people may have been killed in the quake. Lord bless the rescuers and guide them in their work to find as many living people as they can in all the rubble.
Thank you Lord for all the blessings you send my way everyday, help me to recognize and be thankful for them. Good Night and God Bless.

Hi Carolina gal, Oh ---don't you just hate doing the necessary paper work??? It's NO fun. Luckily, I have a wonderful hubby who does that for us.. BUT--I was single for 20 yrs. and did all of my own then.

I've been through Hendersonville many times.. In fact, we have stayed at the Holiday Inn Express and eaten at that Cracker Barrel several times. We've also eaten at the Outback Steakhouse there.

My inlaws live in Hendersonville, TN ---and people are always confusing it with your city...

I felt a little ashamed for griping and being upset about my football team ---especially after reading about the disaster in Haiti. THAT is what is important.

Hugs,
Betsy
