BUSY MARKET DAY, YELLOW JACKET SURPRISE

Off to market this morning under cloudy skies with a few sprinkles of rain on the way to town. I hope these clouds hang around and bring us some decent rain.
Daughter was already at market set up with her blackberries and baked goods. Hubbie helped us get my baked goods set up and then left to run errands and stop at Sam's Club on his way home. He didn't know what he was going to do today as the grass doesn't need mowing this week. It is starting to turn brown in the dry weather.
Josh, daughter's b-friend came in and helped her after his run this morning.
After her berries were sold they left to go swimming at #2 son's development's pool. They are meeting Re and the kids and d-in-love and g-son there for a fun time before it gets too hot this afternoon.
The temp is suppose to stay in the upper 80's today but who knows ??
After a sweltering day inside market I made stops at Ingles and Aldi for groceries and baking supplies for next week.
That predicted 80's forecast must have been wishful thinking on the part of the weatherman.
I heard on the radio as I drove home they were broadcasting from Saluda,NC and the Coon Dog Day festival they have each year down there. They were saying it was well over 100 degrees on the paved streets down there, whew !!!
Hubbie helped me unload then we rested in the sunroom with the fan on. After being so hot all day I felt better out there than inside with the air conditioner.
We went to the garden to pick green beans and dig potatoes for tomorrow's lunch. Hubbie went looking for something in this cabinet and found something he didn't expect.
Luckily he only got stung three times from these mad yellowjackets when he opened the door. I think I remember an old wives tale that says these nest above ground means lots of snow this winter ???
After darkness fell tonight he took care of this nest !!
After chores we sat outside in a cooler breeze that blew up and enjoyed the peacefulness of the evening.
The setting sun reflected off the few stray passing clouds.
Grateful to God for a beautiful world and for a blessed day.
Good Night and God Bless.

I'm glad he's okay. Yellow jackets would send me to the hospital.

Stay cool.
