Oh my !! Next thing I knew I was waking up at 9am !! I hurriedly got dressed and headed out to do the chores as I'm sure all the animals are wondering why they haven't been let out of their over night houses and fed breakfast yet ????
By the time I got back inside and thought about my breakfast I was reminded of my tender stomach feelings of earlier. I decided to just have a cup of coffee and a protein bar.
I felt okay after I ate that and proceeded to get my grocery list and baking supply list ready for a trip to the grocery store. I haven't been grocery shopping since before the holidays so my list was long today !
I woke g-daughter a little early from her morning nap so I could feed her before we left. She was a great shopping buddie and was all smiles at all the admirers who had to get a peek at her.
We made stops at Aldi and Ingles and got home just in time to get unloaded and have her next bottle.
She was an alert little girl all afternoon while watching me do housework and listening to music.
By 3:00 it was time for another feeding and a nap. She was really worn out !!!
While she slept I did more housework. D-in-love was going to be a little late because she had to work for another girl who wasn't there this afternoon.
When she came in she brought her friend ,Claudia's , little girl with her to stay while her brother went to an appointment.
G-son got to practice being a "big brother" to an older "little sister" and he was really good with her.
Emilia is his best friend Nic's little sister and she had been here several times before so she felt right at home.
They all left to go to basketball practice where they met Nic and his mom. Hubbie and I did the evening chores and had supper.
After we ate I had planned to change the rugs back to the regular ones in the sunroom and vacuum in there but the couch called my name loudly and I spent some resting time just snuggling with Dolly and Bernie who were over joyed at this decision.
I have been hitting the Airborne regularly today hoping to fend off what ever is trying to get me down. I thought the extra rest might help some too.
I just hope that my short nap won't affect my sleep tonight like it usually does.
I saw these pics captured by a traffic camera in Montreal, Canada of a Snowy Owl and was amazed again at the perfect beauty of God's creations !!
Thankful for the blessings of this day and still sending up prayers for d-in-love's dad who had one of his legs amputated today below the knee to try and relieve the extreme pain he has been in from a wound that wouldn't heal from his diabetes. Praying that this sets him on the road to recovery.
God Bless and Good Night.

Praying that you can fend off whatever "bug" is trying to get you. That pictures of the Snowy Owl are fantastic - I love owls. Have a great weekend and God bless you.
