FIRST DAY OF PRE-SCHOOL

Back to a normal routine this morning with the 7:15 arrival of g-daughter. I set her up with breakfast and headed out to do the morning chores a little early as this is g-daughter's first day of pre-school.
D-in-love decided to try her in this program that runs only on Tuesday and Thursday from 8:30-12:00 since she is so social and it will also give us g-mas a morning off while she is there. Other g-ma will take her on Thursdays. As I drove around this circle I couldn't help but think how things change but somehow stay the same. I remember passing by these same doors many times as g-son went to this same pre-school as a 3 and 4 year old. First baptist church is a wonderful child care facility and even I can remember when my daughter also went to this little school.  I hope g-daughter likes it better than daughter did !!!
I came home to housecleaning duties. Since I skipped housecleaning last week while I was baking cakes on Tuesday today's cleaning was a must.
I got everything done except the floors when it was time to go back into town and pick up g-daughter. They said she had a good day and she was a very tired little girl and fell fast asleep as soon as I put her into the car seat for the ride home.
She was sleeping so deeply I thought she would have slept for a long time but after only 30 minutes she was awake and wanting lunch.
After lunch she went back to sleep on the couch for another 15 minute power nap !!!
I finished the floors and then played with her until she got really sleepy and took an hour nap in the crib just before d-in-love picked her up.
They left and hubbie came in from work about the same time. Hubbie and I took a rest break and watched the news.
I got up and did chores and then had supper.
The evenings are cooling off nicely now and gives hubbie and me a chance to relax in the outside patio to watch darkness fall.
Daughter called and said they won both the volleyball games against East Henderson tonight to even up their conference record.
I am tired tonight after my early morning so I am headed to bed early tonight.
Thankful for the blessings of this day and for His great love each day.
God Bless and Good Night.

Little cutie looks like having fun tuckered her out. At least you got caught up on house work. Blessings
