"GRANDS" MONDAY

An early wake-up with g-daughter arriving about 7:30 this morning. Hubbie got her breakfast while I did chores and then had my breakfast. We were expecting to take care of Re's kids this morning while she took care of some business but EL was throwing up so they didn't come.
We decided to run our Monday errands this morning before the storms move in this afternoon. We stopped at Southern States for chicken feed and then went to the Aldi store in Arden for baking supplies and some groceries.  We have a serious shopper with us today !!

We made it home by 11:30.
G-daughter went to sleep on the way home and slept for about 2 hours total. I got laundry started and then hubbie and I had lunch of left overs from yesterday.
D-in-love brought g-son here after his Math Camp at 12:30 so I fixed him his lunch.
Daughter came over and spent the afternoon with us and g-daughter R got to love on g-daughter I !!!.

Hubbie and I both are making sure we let both girls share our laps !!!!

The storms started early today and the first round that came early afternoon dropped 6/10ths inch of rain. The storm blew through and the sun came back out really steaming things up.
After her aunt and cousin left she wanted to swing.
Swinging apparently is very funny !!!
After d-in-love picked them up about 5:45 Hubbie and I did chores a bit early because it looked like another storm was headed our way. There were some very angry looking clouds all around this evening.

Thankfully this storm moved to the south of our area.
But later after dark another storm moved in with some close thunder and lightening and heavy rains. I'll check the gauge in the morning.
The tropics have been pretty quiet but the "D" storm was named today. Don is very weak and will move west posing no threat to the US.

Thankful for the blessings of this day and for the strength He gives me each day.
God Bless and Good Night
