CHRISTMAS PROGRAM AND SHOPPING TRIP

The last morning of school before Christmas vacation begins was pretty normal. Daughter and g-son got off to school and I got chores done then took RL to pre-school. She was very happy this morning about being in her Christmas program and sung the songs all the way to school. She was also happy that her mom was getting off work early and she was getting to spend the afternoon with her.
I came home from dropping her off and worked some on my calendar gifts until it was time to head back out to the church for RL's program.
She did great for the first song and then started crying because they took the jingle bells from all the kids and she sat in the teachers lap the rest of the program. She is in the center of the bottom row standing with the candy cane dress and black boots on.
All the kids were in their Christmas colors and the program was sweet.
We left there and headed to the Asheville outlets to start our shopping day.
We had lunch at the food court and IR decided she loved the 6-meat pizza slice from the Acropolus there. We had ordered a cheese pizza thinking she would eat that but she loved the meat.

Traffic was horrific but thankfully the store were well staffed and not too crowded so we got what we needed there except the toy store that was there last year had closed down this year so we had to go to Target at another shopping center to finish our shopping.
Our last stop was Walmart and as we walked down one of the toy isles IR spotted this big yellow dog and started yelling for "Happy" !!  We have never figured out why she was calling this dog happy but she loved him so much we had to let her bring it home, thankfully it was on clearance price !!
We made it home about 3:30 and daughter came in to pick up IR after her last school day and ball practice.
Hubbie and I got the chores done and then I quickly figured bills and did weekly paperwork before heading back into the kitchen for the rest of the evening.
I iced 12 more caramel and baked a blackberry wine cake and a pan of brownies for tomorrow's market day.
Thankful for the blessing of safe travel today and all the other blessings of this day and ever thankful for the Reason for this Season, Jesus Christ.
God Bless, Merry Christmas and Good Night.
