SLEDDING DAY AND HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO #1 SON

Woke to the sound of dripping this morning as the temperature is already in the mid 30's and the snow is starting to melt off the roof.
We had breakfast before we went outside to get chores done as we still have extra work in all this snow. It must have rained earlier because everything is really a wet slick mess this morning.
We came back inside and I started a load of laundry. I put that load in the dryer and then hubbie brought the tractor down for us to ride over to Aa's house to spend the day sledding with the kids. Our driveway is still snow covered and slick so we decided not to try the Honda or truck down it.
#1 son's family was already there and daughter's family arrived with one of son-in-love's brother's, Ben and his family to join the fun shortly after we got there.
This is mostly going to be a picture post because the day consisted of sledding, lunch together at Re's and more sledding.

Hubbie and I left at 4:15 to get home and get chores done and left the kids still sledding and having fun.
The snow is freezing fast and getting really slick to walk in.
My knees are still sore from yesterday and today I hope I managed to walk some of the soreness out of them.
There is another annual leave day for the schools tomorrow which means no one works.
Today is a special day in the life of our family as it is #1 son and d-in-love's 13th anniversary. Happy Anniversary to them and it certainly is a different feeling time this year than when they were in Jamaica on their honeymoon back in 2005.

I am very thankful for the blessings of this day and for the family and friends God has blessed me with and especially for the Reason for this Season, Jesus Christ.
God Bless and Good Night.

Happy Anniversary to your son and daughter-in-love. Looks like everyone had a fun time sledding.
