IT'S A GIRL !!!!!!

Extra early alarm this morning at 7:00 and hurried through chores to get over to daughter's apartment to ride with her and son-in-love to his brother, Ben's house to have breakfast and have the gender reveal of their next baby.
We took biscuits and various jams to contribute to the breakfast.
They were cooking eggs and bacon when we got there and had a big fruit salad.  Everyone else arrived by 9:30 and we all ate  together before the main event.
As the confetti filled balloon was hung above the door the excitement mounted.
Bets had been taken all morning on what it was and the major majority of the family thought for sure it was a boy so there was a lot of surprise when the pink confetti rained from that balloon !!!!

Another little girl and a little sister for IR on the way the first of June !!!
We visited for a while longer then everyone headed home. When we got back to their apartment we took IR with us while they took their dog to meet her new owners as they decided the sweet little puppy was getting too big and rough for IR so they sold her to a teacher that daughter works with.
IR went to sleep as soon as we started out so we went by the church to check on RL's Christmas program . The snow caused the children's program to get postponed into this morning which prevented #1 son's and Aa's family from coming to the reveal this morning.
RL did about the same in this program as she did at her pre-school as she participated for one song then sat in her mom's lap for the remainder of the songs.

D-in-love is the 3 - kindergarten choir director and they did a great job.

EL did great as she is one of the oldest kids in the choir but BB had to have his mom sit with him.

With IR still sleeping hubbie and I ran to Ingles for a fried chicken lunch for us and #1 son's family.
Daughter came after IR and ate with us.
After everyone left hubbie and I relaxed for a little while before chore time since it rained a light rain for part of the afternoon.
We got chores done a little early as Aa and Re and the kids came over.
We have kept a big box with a large doll house for EL in our basement for weeks and tonight was the put it together time. Re ran to the grocery store while I entertained EL and BB upstairs and hubbie and Aa sneaked down stairs to get it put together.
The kids and I had a good time lazing around and watching Christmas movies  together !!!
Re came back and stayed mostly upstairs with us while it took almost 4 hours to get the house all together with the limited instructions that came with it.
The kids didn't act like they minded being late for bedtime !!
After they left hubbie and I got all our gifts out and had a wrapping party.
Thankful for the wonderful blessings of this day filled with happiness all around and for the Reason for this Season, Jesus Christ.
God Bless, Merry Christmas and Good Night.
