CURB MARKET HELPER

As I got ready for market this morning I had some very good help.He even counciled me on my make-up and hair from behind the open cabinet door in the bathroom.
Love that little freckled nose !!!
We made it to market right on time. The day was slow as the hot weather made folks look for air conditioned places to shop today.
The market isles looked like this for most of the day. I was very thankful for the orders I had today.
G-son spent the day playing games on my laptop then playing checkers with these two new friends he met who are daughters of another vendor in market.
Their mother and I took turns watching these three as they had a blast exploring together.
After market the weather was starting to turn bad quickly. The van thermometer told the story.
A strange wind was blowing hot air from the northwest. It seemed strange to have the wind blow that hard with the sun shining. But the dark clouds were on the horizon and moving quickly.
I had a 50% off coupon from Ace Hardware so I stopped there to pick up some suet cakes and when we came out after being in there just a few minutes the sunshine was gone.
We made the rest of our supply stops and at our last store which was Walmart, the rain sprinkled on us as we walked back to the van. After we got the groceries loaded the skies opened up and the rain came down in buckets. I told g-son we were going to wait this one out sitting safely in a parking space !
After only a few minutes the rain subsided and we headed home running onto dry pavement about a mile from our house.
#1 son and hubbie both came in just behind us so I had plenty help getting unloaded just in time before the rains came here. Although not as hard as the storm at Walmart and we got less than 1/10th of on inch. The dark clouds hung low the rest of the evening and the temperature dropped 20 degrees quickly, tonight at 10:30 it is 67 outside.
Thankful tonight to be spared the strong storms and damage areas around us had this afternoon. Grateful for a loving Heavenly Father.
Good Night and God Bless.

Severe weather in Knoxville and near the Smokies today---but up here on the Cumberland Plateau, we didn't even get any rain --other than a few sprinkles off and on. Crazy weather... BUT--it was much much cooler this afternoon Loved it!

Hope your night was okay --and hope that severe weather stayed away from you.
Hugs,
Betsy

We got caught in those heavy downpours and wind on the way home from the doctor. Thankful that it came and went quickly. Today not supposed to be as hot and humid.

We had the bad storm here on Wednesday. We had tons of rain but no high winds. Since then it has been cooler and less humid. G-son looks like he was enjoying his day at Market. Blessings
