RAINY RELAXING SUNDAY

Another dreary morning greeted me as I turned out the dogs and chickens this morning and fed them. Snowball the cow was hanging close to the barn as she doesn't like the rain.
I got to church early and had nice visits with several friends.
We had two people Baptized this morning and daughter had made videos of some question and their professions of faith  that were played just before they were Baptized. The preacher said a big thank-you to daughter as he and everyone enjoyed the videos.

Congratulations to Walker and Bob !

D-in-love played the base guitar for one of the songs.

After church we had lunch with all the kids. We had the last frozen pack of smoked butt from our last smoking day along with fresh corn, beans and potatoes with strawberry shortcake from one of my pound cakes for dessert.
Daughter and hubbie went over to Turf Mountain Sod to get some things out of their van she used Friday night and then she came back here for a nap before a meeting at church at 5:00.
I relaxed the rainy afternoon away out in the sunroom with my 4-legged kids watching the rain fall.
We got another 1/2 inch this afternoon and the hard rains hadn't got here yet !
There were tornado warnings and flooding around our area and I heard thunder but the storms stayed clear of us thankfully so far.
Aaron brought all the cattle up to the upper pasture this evening in advance of all the rain that is predicted for later tonight and tomorrow. The creek is already high from rains farther up from us.
This first week of summer vacation is going to start out busy for me with little Evy coming tomorrow along with g-son and a friend of daughter's is in a bind for a babysitter Tuesday for her 2 kids so they are coming here along with g-son that day. It should be a fun start to the summer !! At least g-son won't get board for these two days !!
This is little Evy with her mom and dad at church this morning.

God is good all the time, all the time God is good.
Good Night and God Bless.

We had rain today also --and tonight... AND--it's supposed to rain all day tomorrow... The plants and flowers love it --but so do the weeds... ha

Have fun this week with all of the extra children around... (Better you than me!!! ha)

Hugs,
Betsy

Seems like everyone is getting a lot of rain. Our grass is growing so fast that I could mow it twice a week. Have fun babysitting the next two days. That should keep you out of trouble - hahaha. God is good, God is great!!
