THANKFULLY G-SON IS BETTER TODAY and A 1946 MEMORY

Brrr again , 15 today, 9 yesterday, couldn't really tell much difference !!!!
I got all the chores done this morning before the grand kids arrived. Since g-son was so sick yesterday and hadn't eaten any solid food yet d-in-love let him sleep in this morning and let him stay home from school today. She brought him and g-daughter about 8:30.
He looks better and ate waffles for breakfast and didn't have any more stomach problems all day thankfully. G-daughter slept the morning away in her swing !!
Unlucky for d-in-love as she came down with the bug about noon today and had to go home from work. My hands are raw tonight from all the hand washing I did today but usually the kids manage to share their bugs with me graciously  !!
The kids stayed with me until their dad got off work this evening.
I spent my extra time today doing some house cleaning and then searched more for decade pics.
G-daughter got over tired this afternoon having her brother around to watch and had a hard time getting her afternoon nap in but she finally worked things out and slept for 3 hours.
I looked out the window this after noon and saw "Big Red" all the way down to the back door. He is going to meet his demise wondering too far from the protection of his fence and barrel I'm afraid !!

Son came after the kids about 5:30, he said d-in-love was really sick this evening and he sure was hoping he wouldn't get the bug.
Hubbie and I did chores in the quickly cooling evening air. The high today was 42 with sunshine but the wind kept the chill factor way low all day. There are limbs and things blown all around the yard from the strong gusty winds.
In January xxx6  decade pics I found a new Guernsey calf that was born back in 1946 in January that belonged to my Aunt Hattie and Uncle Anderson Holmes and his registration application.

I enjoyed looking back through the old memories today as I do each month and I often as I did today find some things I previously overlooked and that is doubly nice.
Thanking God for the blessings of this day and praying that everyone soon get over this bug that we are passing around.
God Bless and Good Night

Sure sounds like everyone is "sharing" in you neck of the woods. Hope you aren't next as someone has to hold down the fort and nurse the sick ones. Praying God sends some healing your way. Still bitterly cold here again today. Blessings
