NICE DAY FOR A TRACK MEET

Uhhh, I feel like the time change is catching up to me more this morning as I drag myself out of bed in the darkness to get chores done.
I took RL to pre-school and then came home for breakfast. At least we can move at a slower pace today.
I did my weekly ironing and then with IR acting really tired we decided to do some thrift shop shopping on the way to pick up RL so we left the house about 10:30.
We stopped at 2 different thrift shops but didn't find a thing and IR didn't go to sleep until after we left the second shop. We had about 20 minutes before it was time to pick up RL so we drove around to let her sleep at least a short nap.
We picked RL up and she wanted to come home for lunch so we picked up a couple cheeseburgers  and fries and headed home.
Both girls were hungry and ate very well their burgers and fries and some left over corn on the cob from Sunday's lunch.
Hubbie and I both are really feeling the effects of the time change and sat in the living room with the girls trying our best to get them to nap so we both could get a short nap in but the girls were having none of that idea.
They played all afternoon until it was time to get ready to go to g-son's track meet. Today's meet is at East Henderson High School. We picked up daughter on the way and met d-in-love, EL, and Deb at the meet.

G-son did the triple jump and long jump again and did well in both , jumping over 26 feet in the triple and over 13 feet in the long.

We left after he completed his jumps and came home to get chores done.
Thankful for the warm day and the sunshine.
We don't get inside now until after 8pm so it's a short evening for us before it's bedtime.
Thankful for the blessings of this day.
God Bless and Good Night
