SPRING WEATHER IN JANUARY

A foggy start to a nice warm day. G-son was worried that I couldn't see good enough to drive him to school through the pea soup fog. With a 42 degree start and an afternoon high of 63 it feels like winter is over but I know better than to hope for that !
After a regular early morning I headed out to town to run my weekly errands and made extra stops at the courthouse to take care of some tax stuff, delivered some eggs and picked up a several month supply of fresh beef from the local butcher shop. They cut the meat fresh and wrap it in white freezer paper so it stays fresher in my freezer.
I made it home by lunch time.
The neighbor's cows were out again and causing a stir but he finally came and got them back in his pasture.  For a couple hours anyway as they got back out again this evening and the sheriff department had to send a deputy to get them off the road.
As I watched out the front window I grabbed my camera and caught these little guys watching me.
This White Throated  Sparrow gives me a mean look !
This Tufted Titmouse is so handsome.

After lunch I worked on getting out my decade photos for January and enjoyed this beautiful day.
I sat outside in the patio and watched the sun go down for the first evening this winter.
If the weather was cold I would say we would definitely be getting some snow with all the perfect "maretails" in the sky this evening.

But with these temperatures there will not be any snow anytime soon. This is very strange weather for the middle of January !

Daughter came by this evening and picked up a futon and 2 papason chairs she had left downstairs to take up to church for their fifth quarter youth gathering tomorrow night. Of course hubbie had to haul it all up to the church.
I worked on my photo organization this evening while a UNC/Miami Basketball game was on TV. UNC lost again. I'm glad I only watched parts of the game !
As I put beach photos in the albums I longed for summer time and another family beach trip.
Thanking God for my blessings today and praying for His guidance in all that I do.
Good Night and God Bless.

Those are some beautiful pictures you took. Warmer than normal temps here in S.E. WI also. Rain expected today with highs in the high 40's. Blessings.
