Of course this is market day and with that special esp that g-daughter has she didn't want to sleep any more this morning.
I did chores and got ready for market as she entertained herself in the high chair with all her toys.
We made it to market on time and she was a good girl watching me get all the things carried inside and set up.
She watched Sesame Street on my laptop while I took care of a few early customers and the lady that ordered the multiple caramel cakes for her daughter's wedding.
She is a good marketer already and even with a tooth trying to make it's way through the gum she was happy.
Sales were very slow today but I am very thankful for the wedding order and the sales that I did have.
After we left market we ran weekly errands and shopped at Aldi and Walmart for groceries and baking supplies. We made it home around 4:00. She was sleeping soundly and I got everything unloaded before she woke up.
D-in-love took g-son by the barbershop for a haircut on the way home. That's him retrieving the "birdie" from the badminton set from the roof of the outside patio.
After they went home hubbie and I rested while we watched the news.
We did chores and as I was coming inside I spotted these two again tonight although they were closer to the ground tonight I think they will be safe just outside the dog lots.
I also caught the wonderful aroma of the Lilac blossoms in the back yard as this bush has burst into bloom with the warmer temps.
I went through my photos tonight to search out the decade pics for April. The earliest April finding was a sad one. I have said before that the face of my paternal grandmother always looked so sad in all her pictures and this is one of the reason I'm sure for that. As this is just one of several babies that died at very young ages. On this stone the age is 1 Yr  7M's & 10 D's. This would have been another older sister for my dad. R.I.P. Bertie E.
When I think back to how hard life must have been in those days and how much grief there must have been it makes my heart ache for these mothers. It also makes me very very thankful for modern medicine and life as it is today. It also makes me very very thankful to God our Father who watches over us daily and blesses us beyond measure even when we don't deserve it.
God Bless and Good Night.

You are so lucky to have Lilacs blooming. They are my favorite flower. I could spend hours just inhaling their fragrance. My mother's mother lost the first three of her six children. Life was a lot harder years ago. Have a nice weekend. Blessings
