SOCCER SUNDAY

Well I got to sleep in a little this morning and it felt so good. Especially since it is 34 cold degrees !!
I got the chores done and leisurely got ready for church we are not fixing a family lunch today because g-son has his first soccer game at 1:30 today and we are all going to that.
Church was nice today, still in 1st John about loving one another.
G-daughter went to sleep in my lap for most of the sermon and then tried to tell her side of the last part of it !!  She is going to be a real talker !!
It felt very strange for hubbie and I to be sitting down alone for a quick salad when we got home from church !!
The soccer game was at Jackson Park, it was a beautiful day for a game and g-son played well but his team lost the game. He started out at goalie, then played offense and defense as the sweeper.

Little sister was a good sport all through the game.

She even found a friend as other g-ma held on to her.( she doesn't look too sure about this )

Hubbie and I came home and spent the Sunday afternoon doing nothing but relaxing. He watched a Nascar race and I sat on the front porch playing with different settings on my big camera to see what made the clearest pics.

We later grilled some ribs and had a great supper then did chores and put all the Sorester flea collars on all the outside dogs for the season. I haven't seen any fleas or ticks yet but it is easier to stop them from getting on the dogs than it is to get them off.
Hubbie made the paper today !!  Thankfully for something good as he shopped at Sam's Club yesterday and had his BP and Glucose levels checked the paper made this pic and he wound up on the front page !!!

This has been a perfect Sunday weather and all with many many undeserved blessings sent my way. What an awesome God we serve !!!!!!
