CHRISTMAS SHOPPING

Up early to get a start on this busy day. Strange with no kids here today but with school on the 2-week Christmas break I'll have to get used to this.
After chores and breakfast hubbie and I headed out to finish our Christmas shopping. First we had to stop at Southern States for chicken feed and at the farmers market for some Lees fruit.
Then we hit the Tanger outlet center in Asheville.
Daughter met us there after her basketball practice. She got some of her shopping finished also.
We made a stop at Hobby Lobby to complete our shopping. She went to get some groceries and hubbie and I headed home. The interstate is down to one lane from an emergency lane repair and all the back roads were very crowded with folks taking alternate routes to avoid sitting in traffic.
We were very glad to get home out of all the hustle and bustle of the season !!!
We got home just in time to get chores done and then had a nice visit from Aa. He worked today and is planning to get some loose ends tied up the rest of the week along with work.
The weather is looking pretty good for Christmas week with a warmer front coming in tomorrow .
We got less than 2/10ths inch of rain from the weekend system that moved through.
I worked on Christmas projects tonight while doing a couple loads of weekly laundry.
Grateful for the safe travel today and for all the grace God shows me each day. Joyfully celebrating the Reason for Season.
God Bless, Good Night and Merry Christmas.
