WHAT WENT ON JANUARY 1991

House cleaning and laundry Tuesday seems to come around more often than just once a week!
The temperature stayed above freezing last night thankfully so no icy roads this morning.
It was 36 at 7:30 this morning but it has drizzled rain all day and feels colder than it is.
I worked inside all morning ,then after lunch I went to the Verizon store to switch to a family plan and activate my re-conditioned phone they mailed me.
There was no customers there today the first time I have seen that. Usually I'm aggravated by having to take a number and wait.
I did more cleaning when I got back home and re-arranged in my sun room. I decided to take the runner I bought back as well as the round rug and buy a cheap washable runner to put between the 2 larger rugs as no one including me wants to walk on the nice expensive runner and we are carrying mud inside all the time.
#1 son's family came by tonight for a visit and for d-in-love to set up our on-line Verizon account. They ate supper with us and then headed to Walmart.
Hubbie and I watched the UNC/Clemson b-ball game, UNC won.
Catching up on decade pictures tonight with January 1991 activities.
When I looked back at the weather in January I found it was a very mild month.
Both the boys played on a rec league basketball team for 2nd and 3rd graders and they were coached by a neighbor named Joe Pace.
Every Saturday morning we were in a gym somewhere watching them.
#2 son is the 4th little boy from the left and #1 son is the 5th.
Daughter loved going to these games and cheering for her brothers.
These games were refereed by high school boys and sometimes the games were better than a comedy show .
Pep talk time !!
Back home daughter's Eskimo Spitz named Sugar waits patiently with a cat friend !!!
We raised and sold Eskimo Spitz puppies for several years and this one was sure a sweety.

The temperature is 38 tonight at 11:30 but it is so foggy outside it is hard to see across the yard.
We were actually hoping for a hard rain shower to hopefully settle the mud in our drive way.
More cleaning tomorrow and a trip to the rug store is on my to do list along with some gravel shoveling if the weather isn't nasty.
Thanking God for His blessings of today.
Good Night and God Bless.

Hi Marilyn, We had that cold drizzle all day also. Then this morning, we had some flurries. They say we may get some snow Thurs. night and Friday....????

Glad you got your phone problem worked out. The family plan sounds perfect for you all since you live so close together.

Great 1991 pictures....
Hugs,
Betsy
